Lize Koops and Flore Hoeneveld have changed some canal names in Amsterdam to Damesgracht, Keizerinnengracht and Prinsessengracht, so the female versions of the male ones hanging there. With these signs, they do not try to change history, but they want to point out the inequality between men and women to the city. A nice idea to raise awareness, not to rewrite history. I can support that. I think that it is crucial to start putting a lot more into herstory. Well done ladies.
